The "On the Beak of an Ancient Pelican" charter for FS9, by John Lawler.

NOTAM: This charter requires a DC-3 with ferry tanks and an ADF. A bubble sextant and/or a drift sight would be a good idea, too, as most of the flying is by Dead Reckoning.

1) Unzip all the files into a temporary directory.

2) Open the Scenery folder and install the "Ancient Pelican" Scenery to the "Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery" folder as described in the "Pelican Scenery ReadMe.txt" file. If you have FSNavigator don't forget to run FSNav DBC after installing the scenery.

NB:- It is possible to fly the charter without installing the scenery, but the following changes will need to be made to the flightplans:-
	(a) On leg 1, add an additional waypoint after Fix13 at N30*00'00, W130*00.00';
	(b) On leg 2, after Fix 13, fly 198deg DR for 129nm to Canton AFLD (PCIS). After PCIS, climb to 7000ft, and fly 170deg DR for 140nm to Fix14;
	(c) At the end of leg 2, you'll have to land on the default asphalt runway at Faleolo Intl (NSFA), instead of a proper grass one.

3) If you have FSNavigator paste the .fsn files into the C:Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\FSNavigator\Plan folder.

4) If you don't have FSNavigator past the .PLN files into the C:\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files folder.

Please let me know if you find any errors (tim@maxtel.tv).

Enjoy flying the charter.
